V\u011b\u0159ili, \u017ee tam najdou \u00fato\u010di\u0161t\u011b. Utekli z v\u011bzen\u00ed, kde se ka\u017ed\u00fd den zd\u00e1l jako v\u011b\u010dnost. Ign\u00e1t t\u0159\u00e1sl hore\u010dkou, jeho tv\u00e1\u0159 byla popelav\u00e1, rty popraskan\u00e9. Pavle, nejrozumn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed z nich, se sna\u017eil v\u0161e udr\u017eet pod kontrolou. A Bugaj, bestie s \u0161\u00edlen\u00fdma o\u010dima, jen se posm\u00edval a dychtiv\u011b se d\u00edval kolem sebe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dve\u0159e otev\u0159ela sedmilet\u00e1 d\u00edvka. Jej\u00ed o\u010di byly obrovsk\u00e9, t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 pr\u016fhledn\u00e9, hlas slab\u00fd jako zvone\u010dek. P\u0159edstavila se: Ivanova Petrovna. Ale \u0159ekla to s takovou dosp\u011blou jistotou, \u017ee se uprchl\u00edci nerv\u00f3zn\u011b pod\u00edvali jeden na druh\u00e9ho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eNem\u00e1m rodi\u010de. \u017diju tady sama. Cht\u011bli byste \u010daj?\u201c \u0159ekla ti\u0161e a klidn\u011b, jako by j\u00ed nebylo divn\u00e9, \u017ee p\u0159ed n\u00ed stoj\u00ed t\u0159i nezn\u00e1m\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ikony v rohu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kdy\u017e se d\u011bv\u010de to\u010dilo kolem kamny, Kov\u00e1\u0159 za\u010dal prohled\u00e1vat chalupu. V jednom temn\u00e9m rohu na\u0161el n\u011bkolik star\u00fdch ikon ve zlat\u011b zdoben\u00fdch r\u00e1mech. Postavy na nich byly p\u0159\u00edsn\u00e9, ale v namalovan\u00fdch o\u010d\u00edch pl\u00e1l \u017eiv\u00fd ohe\u0148.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ot\u0159el je od prachu a vzduch okam\u017eit\u011b zesebral. Bez v\u00e1h\u00e1n\u00ed shodil ikony do pytle. Neuv\u011bdomil si, \u017ee se d\u011bv\u010de na chv\u00edli zarazilo a vdechlo \u2013 jako by tu\u0161ilo, \u017ee od toho okam\u017eiku u\u017e nen\u00ed cesty zp\u011bt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eTo je ale \u0161t\u011bst\u00ed!\u201c zahuhlal drsn\u011b a vr\u00e1til se k stolu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Podivn\u00e1 pohostinnost<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Na stole u\u017e m\u011bli bylinkov\u00fd \u010daj a chleby. Mu\u017ei jedli hltav\u011b, jen Ign\u00e1t se ni\u010deho nedotkl. K\u0159ivil se bolest\u00ed, t\u0159\u00e1sl se a bylo mu \u0161patn\u011b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201eNeboj\u00ed\u0161 se n\u00e1s?\u201c posm\u00edval se Pavle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201ePro\u010d bych se m\u011bla b\u00e1t? J\u00e1 v\u00edm, pro\u010d jste sem p\u0159i\u0161li,\u201c odpov\u011bd\u011bla d\u011bv\u010dina s chladn\u00fdm klidem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ta slova je v\u0161echny t\u0159i p\u0159eru\u0161ila. Pavle zamra\u010den\u011b ml\u010del, Kov\u00e1\u0159 se zachv\u011bl a Bugaj se zvadl\u00fdm sm\u00edchem odpov\u011bd\u011bl. Ale d\u011bv\u010diny o\u010di byly hlubok\u00e9, star\u00e9 a nekompromisn\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Noc soudu<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P\u0159esto se rozhodli odej\u00edt. Jakmile opustili chalupu, noc se zm\u011bnila. Cesta se kroutila, stala se nekone\u010dnou, mlha vych\u00e1zela ze zem\u011b. Ka\u017ed\u00fd krok zn\u011bl jako posm\u011bch lesa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">R\u00e1no je vesni\u010dan\u00e9 na\u0161li uprost\u0159ed vsi. Byli nepoznateln\u00ed: vlasy m\u011bli \u00fapln\u011b b\u00edl\u00e9, tv\u00e1\u0159e vr\u00e1s\u010dit\u00e9, o\u010di pr\u00e1zdn\u00e9 \u2013 jako by za jednu noc zest\u00e1rli o desetilet\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hr\u016fza v chalup\u011b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kdy\u017e se vesni\u010dan\u00e9 odv\u00e1\u017eili vstoupit do chalupy, zastavili se na prahu. Uvnit\u0159 bylo v\u0161e stejn\u00e9: \u010daj na stole, chleby nedot\u010den\u00e9, \u017eidle na sv\u00e9m m\u00edst\u011b. Ale ikony zmizely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A na lavici sed\u011blo d\u011bv\u010de. Jej\u00ed obli\u010dej u\u017e nevypadal jako d\u011btsk\u00fd. V o\u010d\u00edch j\u00ed z\u00e1\u0159ila prad\u00e1vn\u00e1 a studen\u00e1 s\u00edla, n\u011bco, co nebylo lidsk\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tehdy pochopili: nebyla d\u00edt\u011btem. Byla str\u00e1\u017ekyn\u00ed. T\u011bmi, kdo po stalet\u00ed chr\u00e1nili svat\u00e9 ikony.
